Kapaji has provided long-term support to our dissolution department. They started with setting the proper processes in the department and continued with practical training. They helped us perform non-standard in vitro testing and provided us with continued scientific support. In the early days of COVID-19, our site was acquired by the company Novavax. We began the race against time to finalise the tech transfer and preparations for the mass production and release of the COVID-19 vaccine. Since the very beginning, Kapaji has supported our site, taking on a multitude of complex roles spanning from technical project management and line management, to the preparation of sizeable QA documents, helping with the drug substance and drug product batch review and release processes, as well as helping with the preparation of drug product serialization and alert management. Unlike some external companies that worked for the site, Kapaji has met all our expectations. They provided us with a long-term support, and their combination of a development mindset and profound industrial experience and leadership skills has been a major gamechanger.

Pavel Calta designed a comprehensive series of scientific presentations on preformulation activities. These were tailor-made to suit my team’s needs. He managed to engage the junior and the experienced members alike and reach the main goal he was tasked with – to noticeably level up our competencies. He achieved all this, coupled with his emphasis on practical matters that one encounters throughout drug formulation development. Our client requested a reverse-engineering analysis of the reference product for the purpose of Scientific Advice discussion at an initial stage of development. The reference product consisted of 8 excipients, several of which had the contents indicated in the SmPC. The response from Kapaji was swift and very helpful. The analytical study was performed without delay and at a reasonable cost. It has given satisfactory results allowing for a complete picture of the quantitative composition of the reference product. Overall, Kapaji’s approach is prompt, scientifically professional, and, last but not least, friendly and enthusiastic.

Even though the pharmaceutical company Noventis s.r.o. has been collaborating with Kapaji for a relatively short period of time, we have had a great opportunity to look at the issues we were facing from a non-biased perspective. This approach was ground-breaking as it notably helped us in our professional development and tackling a long-lasting problem. We were astonished by how well-prepared and acknowledged they were even before the first meeting in Zlin, Czech Republic. The extensive trouble-shooting process could thus be completed in two days, where we analytically examined the individual steps in the production. Consequently, we were able to evaluate all potential critical points not only from the manufacturing process but also in the overall company structure. Last but not least, we appreciate Kapaji for combining technical expertise with enthusiastic dealing with obstacles. Kapaji helped us establish R&D project management, building on their experience within the field but respecting local specifics. The in-house development process was mapped and defined together with the RACI matrix and system of project review, reporting, and decision-making.
